Giants Make Bold Move Trade In Place For Carlos Beltran

Beltran will go to the Giants for 21-year-old right-hander Zack Wheeler, the sixth pick in the 2009 draft. The Mets are also reportedly going to pay a bulk of Beltran's salary as well. San Francisco was already tough, but adding Carlos Beltran to an offensive that has struggled at times is a big boost. The Giants have a very deep rotation along with one of the better bullpens.
